Since the school's inception, we have seen a steady growth of students and families, to our great delight! We are now at 100(!) students and over 70 families, with 22 staff members, excluding David and I. We are proud of our achievements so far, and recognize not just the improvement of quantity but quality of work and education that happens on campus here every day.

With all of this growth, we recognize that more is needed from us as we lead the school into its next growth phase.
This week, we celebrated the acquisition of two new roles for two of our staff, Katie Henry and Taylor Henry, who have been with the school for four years. Starting both as Lead Guides, their contributions to the school have gradually increased over time to encompass much more than guiding the students, hereunder supporting the development of the school's mission through work with faculty and admin.
Katie Henry, has now been promoted from her recent Guide Coach and Learning Specialist position to Head of Faculty & Parent Engagement, thus now overseeing all faculty and parent communication, events, training, and admin processes.
Meanwhile, after having been awarded the sole responsibility in Fall 2023 of growing our Middle School (12-15 yrs) program, and more recently leading the training of our newest Adolescent Lead Guide, Jenny Blonk, along with preparing to open our High School (15-18 yrs) program in Fall 2026, Taylor Henry has now been promoted to Head of Adolescent Program, while retaining his Adolescent Lead Guide position as well.
With these promotions, the school now encompasses a Leadership Team of four (4) Heads; Sophie (Head of School), David (Head of Admin), Katie, and Taylor, with support from Daycare Director Tina Turner.
Please help us congratulate Katie and Taylor with their promotions! We thank them deeply for their continued commitment and dedication to the school's vision and mission during these past years and for the years ahead!
