Parent Programs

The School is blessed with an amazing community of adult supporters, who among other things pay it forward with specially designed events and/or weekly, health-oriented and restorative sessions for parents and caregivers. These events and sessions are open to all in the area - your child does not need to be enrolled with us for you to participate!

Building on the idea of supporting all of our families in the community in more ways than one, we continue to invite specialists in region to offer their services in our school's inviting community space.

Interested in offering a service for parents? Feel free to reach out to Admin with your ideas!

Currently we are able to offer the following (on weekday mornings between 8:45am-9:45am, when school is open):

Yoga Workout with Sabrina on Mondays - late Spring 2026 dates: 4/13, 4/20, 4/27, 5/4, 5/11, 5/18, (no class 5/25) 6/1, 6/8

Yoga Workout is a fun and energizing blend of yoga, Pilates and strength training designed to tone and stretch your entire body. Using light weights (2–5 lbs), we’ll flow through dynamic sequences that sculpt the arms, legs, back and core while connecting to deep, intentional breath and yoga asana. Expect to sweat, lengthen and awaken your heart energy as you move with rhythm and presence. This class is perfect for all parents looking to boost strength, increase flexibility and restore inner balance so you can feel empowered, uplifted and recharged for the day ahead.

Sabrina Vedete Elmaliah is a 200 RYT Yoga Alliance Certified Facilitator of Raja Yoga, known in India as the Yoga of Royalty. She has been practicing yoga for over 20 years and teaching yoga as a service to humanity since 2012. She began her practice on the beaches of Southern California, merging Pilates, asana, meditation and yogic wisdom from the studio setting into a dynamic practice for all seeking better health, wellness and connection to their higher selves.

Ballet with Vicky on Tuesdays - late Spring 2026 dates: 4/14, 4/21, 4/28, 5/5, (no class 5/12,) 5/19, 5/26, 6/2, 6/9

Vicky Lundell is a 25+ year seasoned professional New York City dancer who was a member of the world renown Mark Morris Dance Group and The Parsons Dance Company, among others. Ms. Lundell has been cultivating her teaching method with adult classes in the Delhi area for over four years, and has taught children for 10+ years. She has also taught the youth summer movement week for the last three summers at BCMS. Her Cecchetti based foundation and extensive NYC contemporary dance immersions, coupled with yoga and fitness studies, give her a unique prowess in various pathways of technical perspectives. Her desire to teach adults comes from her own enjoyment in the continued development and understanding of the body and mind's instinct to move. Her goal is to help gain and maintain safely one's core physical strength and balance, and to enjoy a creative fulfillment for all through the integrity of the classical ballet. Canvas ballet slippers are strongly recommended. Comfortable, stretchy clothing but not too loose on the body are ideal.

Any questions about the class may be directly emailed to Vicky Lundell:  vlund12@proton.me
