A farm-based education in the heart of Delaware County, New York
The first three years of life are the most fundamental in the development of human beings and their potential. It is a period when the core of personality, social skills, and human values are developed. It is the time where rapid transformation in growth happens.
Dr. Maria Montessori saw this time as the absolute most critical in human development, of all the other age periods.
With a deep understanding of what a child is developing, a fully Montessori prepared environment will meet the needs of the child and foster a sense of belonging, independence, and language acquisition, thereby enabling children to feel able and capable.
Giving the young child a home away from home.
As per AMI guidelines, we plan to offer a five days a week,
half-day toddler program at our school, for children who are
18 months on September of that school year, who have
learned to walk, and whose world is therefore already
expanding at a greater rate. To find our more about admitting
your toddler, to our program please visit our Enroll page.
We plan to add a full-day option soon.
During their time at our school, the youngest students
focus on developing their movements, language, and
independence, within a caring and social-environmental
context. Our unique farm location will offer lots of opportunity
for additional learning opportunities and outdoor activities,
which we believe are important for growing minds and bodies.
